About you:
We are looking for a professional support lawyer with 5-6 years UK experience in Banking & Finance to draft and maintain English law precedents and other know how. Reporting to the Partner in Charge of the London office you will encourage and develop other English law initiatives and provide English law professional support to fee earners in London and other offices.
You will be responsible for:
- developing an English law precedents program for the firm and other inititatives
- drafting and maintaining precedents
- providing professional support to fee earners
- monitoring developments in law
- contributing to internal and external legal updates
- participating in legal education and training
- assisting in maintaining intranet site
- undertaking special projects
attending meetings and preparing reports.
You will have:
- excellent analytical, communication, drafting and research skills
- strong commitment to internal client service
- a strong team focus with well developed people skills and the skills necessary to support colleagues
- self managed and have enthusiasm to be involved in the development and implementation of English law initiatives.
About the team:
In this role you will work closely with the Partner in Charge of the London office and support the fee earners in London and other offices. Working closely together is vital to the success of our team.
