This newly created opportunity with esteemed Sydney law firm will see you join a dynamic, innovative PD team based out of Sydney. Reporting into the National Talent Management Director, your key responsibilities will include design & implementation of all aspects of professional L&D as well as leading an innovative, insightful, high-energy PD team.

As a senior member of a thought leading management structure, you will develop the national PD strategy & identify key learning needs with a true coach / mentor approach. With responsibility for setting, managing and reporting on the PD budget you will have a natural flair for managing the firm’s expectations. Your strength in establishing and maintaining successful and fruitful business relationships will allow you to work closely with both internal clients as well as your national L&D community.

Possessing effective people management, delegation, supervisory and mentoring skills you will rely upon your relationship management and influencing skills to gain “buy in� for change. When it comes to project skills you will have a clear understanding of basic principles such as logistics and project execution. Managing your time effectively will allow you to run day to day responsibilities as well as leveraging available resources to complete projects in a timely and focussed manner.

Working collaboratively with an emphasis upon effective, clear communication you will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a sophisticated consultative approach. To be successful you will be consistently inspirational, positive, professional, creative and innovative and position yourself as a source of advice and support.

For successful appointment you will be an experience L&D Manager with a history of managing teams in a dynamic and influential capacity. Your change management experience alongside your relevant degree qualification will set you apart. Experience within a professional services environment will be a distinct advantage.
