An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Lawyer, with solid Mergers & Acquisitions experience, to join the Corporate - M&A Group within our Sydney office.
The M&A Group acts for a variety of high-profile clients including investment banks, advisors and major corporates. The Group uses its technical and commercial skills to help its client achieve their objectives in asset and corporate transactions, including public and private mergers & acquisitions, P2Ps, joint ventures and other unincorporated structures, ECM transactions, and compliance with the Corporations Act. Some of the solutions that it has developed have resulted in new ways of structuring or executing transactions.
Clients include listed companies, financial sponsors and offshore parties. The Group works closely with our tax and competition teams.
We welcome applications from exceptional lawyers with strong technical expertise, an excellent academic record and 3 years + post qualification experience. A commercial approach, high-level communication skills and the ability to develop strong client relationships are essential to this position, as is the ability to work in a team environment.
